The scope of any engagement — what we will do, what it costs, and what we need from you — is defined in a written engagement agreement signed by both parties. No services are performed, and no professional duty is assumed, before that agreement is in place.

No guarantee of results

Every tax situation is different. Prior results, examples, and illustrations on this site do not guarantee a similar outcome. Refund amounts, tax savings, penalty relief, and processing timelines depend on your facts, the law in effect, and the actions of tax agencies — none of which any preparer can guarantee.

Pricing

Pricing shown on this site for bookkeeping services reflects typical engagement ranges and may vary with the complexity and volume of your situation. Tax preparation and other services are quoted individually. All fees are confirmed in writing before work begins.

IRS and government agencies

SBZ Tax & Accounting is a private firm. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Internal Revenue Service, the California Franchise Tax Board, or any government agency.

Communications

Submitting a form or emailing us does not make you a client, and — because email is not a secure channel — please do not send Social Security numbers or complete tax documents through the website forms. We will provide a secure method for exchanging documents when we work together.
